Three ways to book

You choose the start time. A single day falls between 07:00 and 23:00; for earlier or later care, book by the hour. Nothing is added to a single night.

Each additional child: +€5 per hour. That is +€45 on a single day and +€50 on a single night. More than three children: price by agreement.

Your own hours

An afternoon, an evening or a night: you give us the start and end time, subject to availability on that date.

For example:

  • from 10:00 to 15:00
  • from 18:00 to 23:00
  • from 19:00 to 02:00
  • from 22:00 to 04:00

Good to know

  • Booking well ahead works just as well as booking at short notice, always subject to availability. Booking at short notice costs nothing extra.
  • Cancelling
    • More than 48 hours ahead: free of charge
    • 24 to 48 hours ahead: 50% of the booking amount
    • Less than 24 hours ahead: 100% of the booking amount

How it works

  • The care runs on until you end it, with one month’s notice.
  • If you skip a reserved session yourself, it remains payable. The place was held for you.
  • Let us know at least 48 hours ahead and we will move that session once within 30 days, subject to availability.
  • If Lovicare stays longer than the block, €30 per additional hour applies, plus €5 per additional child per hour.
  • If Lovicare itself cannot be there, you do not pay for that session. We look together at moving it or at a credit.

Travel and stay

  • Necessary travel and accommodation costs for the nanny come on top of the quote: transport, a flight or train, local transport, accommodation and necessary meals.
  • Travel time is included in the quote.
  • For a multi-day assignment we agree working and rest hours in advance, and the nanny has her own sleeping space.

Good to know

  • The quote depends on duration, number of children, destination, working hours and exactly what is needed.
  • On acceptance of the quote you pay a 30% deposit.
  • Cancelling
    • More than 14 days ahead: free of charge
    • 7 to 14 days ahead: 30% of the quoted amount
    • 3 to 7 days ahead: 50% of the quoted amount
    • Less than 72 hours ahead: 100% of the quoted amount
    Costs already incurred that cannot be refunded, such as a flight or a hotel, always remain payable by the client. Different terms may apply to large or multi-day assignments; those are stated in the quote in advance.

    During care, we keep you personally updated via WhatsApp. With two parents, this can be a shared group chat, so you both stay involved. We only share photos with your permission.

    After care, you receive a personal overview of the day, from meals and naps to activities and anything notable. So you know exactly how your child’s day went.

What types of nanny care do you offer?

Three. With Lovi’s Flexible you book care when it suits you: by the hour, as a single day or as a single night. With Lovi’s Family you have a fixed place: your own weekly days, each with your own start and end time. For every session Lovicare automatically charges the more favourable rate: day care (nine hours) or night care (ten hours). Lovi’s Moments is tailored care for special occasions, such as travelling along, weddings and multi-day support. Evening care, weekends, pick-ups and homework support belong to all three; they are not separate packages.

What does nanny care at Lovicare cost?

With Lovi’s Flexible, care by the hour costs €30 for one child, €35 for two and €40 for three children, with a minimum booking amount of €100. A single day of nine hours costs €249 and a single night of ten hours €289. Lovi’s Family works with fixed weekly sessions: day care of nine hours at €199 and night care of ten hours at €249; for each session we automatically charge the more favourable rate for your times. Lovi’s Moments is quoted personally. Every additional child costs €5 per hour.

Is there a registration fee?

Not for Lovi’s Flexible. Lovi’s Family and Lovi’s Moments carry a one-off registration fee of €35 per family, not per child and not per booking. If you later switch packages, you do not pay it again.

Which regions does Lovicare work in?

Lovicare works in the Amsterdam, Utrecht and Almere area and the surrounding towns. Do you live outside our regular working area? Care is still possible by arrangement. Depending on distance and travel time, an additional travel allowance may apply.

Can Lucy stay overnight?

Yes. For a one-off night you book Lovi’s Flexible: ten hours for €289, with your own start and end time and no supplement. If you need a fixed night every week, Lovi’s Family Night suits better: ten hours for €249. For a weekend away or a trip we make a Lovi’s Moments quote. Staying overnight always depends on availability on that date; Lovicare is not a 24-hour service.

Is the introduction without obligation?

Yes. The introduction is without obligation. Only when both sides want to go ahead do we make concrete arrangements about the care.

Who comes to our home?

At the moment the care is carried out personally by Lucy. That way you know in advance who is looking after your children, and a trusted bond can develop.

Can relevant documents be inspected?

Relevant documents that are genuinely in place and valid can be discussed and inspected on request during the introduction.

What happens after I fill in the form?

Lucy reads your request herself and gets in touch personally. We then arrange a no-obligation introduction. A request is therefore not yet a booking and commits you to nothing.
